Multiplication is a very important concept to master. Knowing the multiplciaton facts become more and more important for students in fourth and fifth grades. Here are some resources that may be helpful to learn multiplication facts.

5 Minute Multiplication Practice Sheets
Use these 5 Minute Multiplication worksheets to help learn the multiplication facts. Practice daily. Start with the multiply by zero sheet and keep practicing until you can get a 95 percent accuracy within the 5 minute time period. Then, begin using the multiply by one sheet.

Creating Multiplication Chart PracticePractice creating the multiplication chart until it becomes quick and easy. You may use the hundreds chart to help skip count. The blank graph paper can be used to practice specific multiples (for example skip counting by 5s - 5, 10, 15, 20 and so on until 60).

On-line Multiplication PracticeXtraMath is a website that allows students to practice their addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills.
All students may have already have XtraMath accounts to use XtraMath that have been assigned by their math teacher. They need to know their math teacher's email account and the pin. If the student does not remember the email and pin, you may setup a free account for your child. |
